The utmost trouble about Alcatel is nothing but limited filesize 
It can probably be quite a nasty thing when it comes to pimpin' (sorry, pumpin') huge AMR's into its 2mb memory... But when i mean "huge" - that's about duration, not size - top "weight" is hardly more than 50 kb. 40 secs of 12,2 kbps 
Maybe there're any tricks to cope with this stuff

Well, in a short cut, an AMR in 556 can't be more than 50 kbytes, irrespective of duration. This limit can't be overcome.
